Dr. Jimi Falemara is a family physician dedicated to comprehensive, patient-centred primary care. He holds his LMCC and CCFP, earned his MD from the Medical University of Gdansk, and is a Fellow of the Royal College of General Practitioners (FRCGP) and the Royal Society for Public Health (FRSPH).

Alongside general family medicine, Dr. Falemara offers expertise in Mental Wellbeing, Women's Menopause health, MSK, Geriatric and Paediatric medicine, and Cardiovascular disease management. He also brings specialised training in obesity and lifestyle medicine, including certification as a Bariatric Educator (Obesity Canada), a Lifestyle Medicine Physician (BSLM/IBLM), and SCOPE certification through the World Obesity Federation, as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in Sport & Exercise Medicine with Distinction. He has taught Medical Students, family physicians, and allied health professional trainees; co-authored postgraduate curriculum in obesity management; and delivered community health education on chronic disease prevention.

Dr. Sonderlund brings extensive clinical experience across acute, preventative, and occupational care, with formal training in both Family Medicine and Pediatrics.

At Ascent, her practice focuses on medical aesthetics and lifestyle medicine. She specializes in neuromodulators, dermal fillers, and biostimulators, combining clinical precision with an artistic eye to deliver subtle, natural results.

Complementing her aesthetic work, Dr. Sonderlund provides comprehensive lifestyle medicine reviews. By bridging longevity medicine, metabolic health, and refined cosmetic treatments, she helps patients optimize both vitality and appearance.

Dr. Cieslak is a specialist in Internal Medicine and Nephrology, certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and a Diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine.

Dr. Cieslak’s practice philosophy centers on evidence-based, patient-focused care, with an emphasis on long-term health optimization and disease prevention. He is fully engaged in ongoing work in multidisciplinary metabolic health clinics and continues to practice regularly in the acute care hospital setting, ensuring his approach integrates both preventive and front-line medical experience.

Our clinic management team coordinates daily operations, patient scheduling, and communications for the practice. Both Niki and Erin have worked alongside Dr. Cieslak in New Westminster since 2016. They will help ensure a seamless launch in White Rock and are available for questions prior to opening.
